or Family Disaster Plan.

Next you should prepare a Disaster
Supplies Kit. Your kit should be
targeted to a broad range of emergencies rather than towards a single incident.

Learn how you will be warned
about
an Emergency by city officials, local news media, and the National Weather
Service.
|
|
Teach your entire family how to
Shelter In Place in case of a chemical emergency and
how to Evacuate in case of flooding, hurricane, or
other emergency.
|
|
Practice your Family Disaster
Plan frequently and refresh your Disaster Supplies Kit at least once a year.
